Tennis Update

The Queens event, a grass court tournament prior to Wimbledon, has recently finished. Andy Roddick reached the finals, but he was upset in the final 4-6, 6-7 . This doesn't bode well for Roddick's chances at Wimbledon. If Roddick is losing to unranked players now, it doesn't seem like he would be capable of beating the likes of Federer or Nadal at Wimbledon. Will an American ever beat Federer? It seems like it's been over a decade since an American has been the #1 player in the world. The youth of America needs to improve their games, because it seems like Europeans are drastically better. The only American inside the top 15 is Andy Roddick, while there are over 6 Europeans in the top 15.
