TENNIS

All of my favorite players are getting worse. Look at Andy Roddick, or Andy Murray, they are not doing well this year. Andy Murray hasn't won a slam, and neither has Roddick. Andy Roddick hasn't come close to winning a slam, and he is getting old which only worsens his chances. Andy Murray is a Cool Scottish man, and I am Scottish too. Thus, I might be good at tennis, or possibly great, because Scottish people naturally succeed! Andy Murray, good luck, because you need it to win Wimbledon this year.

Tennis Update

The Queens event, a grass court tournament prior to Wimbledon, has recently finished. Andy Roddick reached the finals, but he was upset in the final 4-6, 6-7 . This doesn't bode well for Roddick's chances at Wimbledon. If Roddick is losing to unranked players now, it doesn't seem like he would be capable of beating the likes of Federer or Nadal at Wimbledon. Will an American ever beat Federer? It seems like it's been over a decade since an American has been the #1 player in the world. The youth of America needs to improve their games, because it seems like Europeans are drastically better. The only American inside the top 15 is Andy Roddick, while there are over 6 Europeans in the top 15.

Tennis

Tennis is a fun sport, and you can lose a lot of weight doing it. For example, you often run and exhibit a long term cardio workout whenever you play tennis. It requires endurance, and increases your vitality and state of mind. You almost always feel better after tennis, because it helps boost your mind, as exercise often does. Exercise is the key to a healthy life, and tennis will only aid in developing a positive state of mind.

French Open Final men

In the men's finals, Nadal avenged his previous loss to Soderling at the French Open. Last year, Soderling was the only man ever to beat Nadal at the French Open, shocking the tennis world. It was expected in this year's finals that Nadal would come out with a desire for revenge, and he demolished Soderling 6-3, 6-2, 6-4. The king of Clay is back, but will he win Wimbledon as well? Wimbledon is now coming up, and Americans haven't won Wimbledon in over a decade. Will the trend be broken this year?

Tennis Update

Right now, Robin Soderling is on the verge of beating Berdych, to land a spot in the finals of this year's French Open. If he does, it is likely that he will face Rafael Nadal, which would be a re-match of last year's round of 16. The question is: will the outcome differ? Last year, Nadal suffered his only loss ever at the French Open to a nobody: Robin Soderling. Now that nobody has gained confidence and is playing better than ever. Was the day that Nadal lost a fluke, or is Robin Soderling truly better at Clay than Nadal? If Nadal reaches the finals, all of these questions will be answered.

Tennis Blog Update

So, today, there is another blog update about all of the top seeds going out in the Australian Open. Don't lose hope if you're significantly worse than another player, for you can always recover from losing. Another thing to think about is nerves. People always get nervous, and once you're beating a tough player, they might get nervous and start to become frustrated. This is not a good idea. Always stay confident and always remain calm under pressure. Always think about the positives, never think about the negatives. These are the keys to having a good mental stability.
