Truckee Tennis

The way that Truckee ranks its players is different and competetive. When teams play against each other, there are three singles and three doubles teams, thus nine players overall. But, the team has more than nine players. Therefore, when Truckee plays a team that needs all of its best players, some players might not get a chance to play. This is a reason to practice for the upcoming season so you can compete and earn a spot on the starting squad. If you make the starting team, you can go to regionals with the team, while others will merely go as backups. So, practice, practice, and practice! But, don't be disappointed if you don't make the team right away. There are chances every week to prove yourself and move up the ladder of ranked players.

Welcome to the blog of the Truckee High School Tennis Team. The team recently finished a great season, making it to regionals and beating Manogue High School. Although Truckee Tennis did not make State, the team was composed mostly of freshman, and will continue to get better. The team is looking to make State next year, and have the best season yet. Practices will be held at Tahoe Donner Tennis Center, and will start in August.
